Russian GP Race 12/10/14

12.10.2014.- Despite having a good performance, Mexican driver Esteban Gutiérrez is not satisfied with the result after the Russian Grand Prix.

As part of Sauber’s strategy, Gutiérrez was one of the last drivers to visit the pits after having been among the top ten for a good part of the race.

“Fighting from the very start until the end, we were really betting for a safety car. At the end it was a real challenge when everybody had fresh tires”, said the Mexican.

After not being able to reach the points, Esteban has said they are not satisfied but will continue fighting to get ahead, as there are still three rounds to go in the Formula One season.

“It was a good fight but it is a little frustrating, after a race where I gave even more than 100%, to finish 15th, but it is what it is and we must continue fighting, we cannot be satisfied with this result,” said the Mexican.

It was a 1-2 for Mercedes in Russia, with Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg crossing the line in that order, while Valtteri Bottas was third to round up the podium.
