Zandvoort, Netherlands – After a two week break in Monterrey spending time with his friends and family, Mexican driver Esteban Manuel Gutierrez Gutierrez is back on the tracks with lots to do in the Formula 3 Euroseries.
The next three weeks will be very intense for the aztec driver, who will face races 7 and 8 of the calendar this weekend in Zandvoort, Netherlands, where he has already tried his luck when back in June he participated in the Masters of Formula 3
More used to the car now, with competitive times, a better physical condition and very motivated, Esteban has shown that he is ready for the good results, just as he did three weeks ago during the fifth round of the season in Nüremberg, Germany, where he earned his first five points of the season with a fourth place.
The Zolder racetrack is famous for having hosted the Netherlands Grand Prix of Formula One from 1952 to 1985, being Niki Lauda the winner of that last year, and who was joined on the podium by Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna.
Esteban is relaxed and aware of the process he is living through as a sportsman in his racing career after winning last year’s Formula BMW Europe championship.
As a part of his preparation, the young 17 year old driver of the French team ART Grand Prix will have the chance of racing in the International British F3 race of Spa-Francorchamps, next 24-26 of July.
After that, the Mexican driver will be back in action for rounds 9 and 10 of the Formula 3 Euroseries calendar in Oschersleben, Germany.
“Zandvoort is a circuit that I like very much as I had the opportunity to race here last month in the Formula 3 Masters event. After two weeks back in Mexico I was able to take it easy and prepare for the next three events, which will take place on three weekends in a row. It is going to be very interesting and enriching as I will have plenty of time on the car during July and August. I am very motivated for the next races, where I will do my best effort to earn points as we did last time in Germany. Greetings to all the fans that follow my career and I hope they can enjoy both races this weekend”, commented Esteban Gutierrez.
Esteban thanks his sponsors Multigama, DeAcero, Telmex, Alpinestars, and Bell for supporting him on this new challenge called Formula 3 Euroseries.
