Silverstone, UK - After achieving his first GP2 win in Valencia, Spain, Mexican driver Esteban Gutierrez is back in action this weekend for races nine and ten in England.

The circuit of Silverstone, 5.891km length, is to host the next round of 2011 season of the Formula 1 feeder series.

“I am very motivated because of the good result we achieved in Valencia; we come to Silverstone highly motivated.

“I think that up to certain point this has been good for everybody, although obviously we must keep our feet on the ground and work smartly to progress consistently to where we want to be”, said the Mexican.

Like the Valencia circuit, Silverstone suits well to the Lotus ART GP driver, who obtained good results in the Formula BMW and the GP3 Series where he participated last year and was first in practice, qualifying and Saturday race, and got third place in the sprint race.

“It definitely is a track I enjoy very much because I’ve had good results in the past, but obviously we have to keep in mind that this is a different series and I am still learning and adapting to the car. We try to be the more efficient and consistent possible in terms of results”, he added.

This weekend, the 19 year old driver and the team will keep the same strategy aiming to be consistent and to reach a good result that places him in the top ten.

“We have the same mindset. We have seen that the speed is there. We have the pace and we must avoid the mistakes that are obviously a part of my adapting to the series. We’ll give our best to continue moving on.

“I think there is not much to say. The strategy is similar. It will all depend on what position I start from but in general terms we want to be consistent and we have a cool head to keep working in the same way”, he remarked.
