Lausitz, Germany – Making clear that he is improving day after day, the Mexican driver Esteban Manuel Gutierrez Gutierrez significantly advanced with his times during the practice races for the two races that he will race in this weekend in the Formula 3 Euroseries.
Esteban finished in eighth place in the first practice session of the day, registering a best time of 1:18.605 in the 39th lap, while in the second session on lap 30, he managed to better that time with 1:18.037, which placed him on the tenth place. These results demonstrate the advance that the Aztec has made in this Series, in comparison with the fastest on the circuit here at Lausitz EuroSpeedway.
The young driver, who drives racing car number 23 with the French team ART Grand Prix, is now ready for the qualifying tomorrow and then faces the third and fourth dates of the season which take place this Saturday and Sunday respectively. He is the only Mexican who will proudly start his motor on the starting grid.
”I could take advantage of the time to adapt to a circuit where I’ve never raced before. The truth is that every time I race I enjoy driving the F3 car more and more, now that I’m getting to know the car’s reactions to different circumstances a lot better”.
“Thank God we could show an advance in question of time in comparison with the fastest times and this gives us a lot more confidence that we’re going in the right direction. Tomorrow in the qualifying, I hope to be able to put my best sectors in one lap to get in a good position for the start” commented Esteban Gutiérrez on finishing the practice rounds.
Esteban Gutiérrez thanks his sponsors Multigama, DeAcero, Telmex, Alpinestars, and Bell for all the support that they have given him with this project.
The young driver thanks the Telmex company for joining this project to bring Mexico back to the forefront of motor racing at a world level.
