Esteban Gutierrez

Estoril, Portugal –  On the second day of testing for the F3 Euroseries, Esteban Gutierrez proved that he is adapting very well to the car as today´s results showed when compared to yesterday times. 17 year old Gutierrez finished the first official testing recording the 11th fastest time of the field with a best lap time of 1´32"956 on lap 59, during the morning session. He ended the session exhausted because these were only his first two days at the wheel of car 23, as well as with ART Grand Prix.

Now, the Mexican driver will fly to the city of Valencia, Spain, for the second official pre-season test of the year, which will take place on March 23-24 at the Circuito de la Communitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo.

“It was a very productive day in which we were able to complete our work plan for the first official test. Adapting to the car has been a little difficult but what’s important is that we made significant progress today as compared to the first day of training. Now we are moving on to the next official training in Valencia, Spain, where we will seek to improve even more in every aspect. We understand this is a process that we have to take wisely and as always keep working hard and with intelligence to reach the top", Esteban commented.
