30.10.2014.- It is time for Formula One to visit America and it starts off with the United States Grand Prix, one of the most special events for driver Esteban Gutiérrez, as it is the closest to his country and his very home town.

This is the second time Esteban will race on the Circuit of the Americas, but it's his third time on the track, after he was there with Sauber as a reserve driver in 2012.

“I was really looking forward to the United States Grand Prix; it is great to be here, in Austin. For me, this is a very special Grand Prix because we get a lot of support from Mexican fans thanks to being so close to my home country.

“I hope I can reward all the fans for their support here, as they make me feel extra motivated”, said the Mexican driver.

Esteban also talked about the track and what he likes most of this circuit. Despite the car not having responded as well as the team expected, Sauber driver hopes for a good weekend in Austin, Texas.

“The Austin track is one of my favorites, I like driving here very much, I like the first sector with its series of fast turns that resemble a segment of the Silverstone track.

“We still lack speed on the straights, the second sector will be a challenge with its long straight. There are a few slow, very technical turns in the final sector”, he remarked.

The United States Grand Prix will begin with free practice sessions one and two at 10:00 (09:00 México Central Time) and 14:00 (13:00), respectively.
