Esteban Gutiérrez announces alliance with Velociudad
Esteban Gutiérrez is pleased to announce his alliance with Velociudad, who have designed him as driver ambassador to share his experience with motorsports fans.
Velociudad have confirmed that the agreement was reached at the Monaco Grand Prix, the flag event of the Formula One calendar and sixth appearance of the talented Team Sauber's Mexican driver in the top series of world motorsports.
Gutiérrez, the youngest driver in Formula One - who amazed the public with a remarkable performance in the Spanish Grand Prix - will work together with Velociudad to promote the construction of their new track "Speedcity", in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, by communicating motorsport and lifestyle activities of the brand in the international scene.
As part of the partnership, Gutiérrez will talk to his fans about his daily experience as a Formula One driver through Velociudad's online and social network platforms. Gutiérrez will use these same platforms to capture images and video of the most exotic and spectacular sports cars around the world as part of the communication plan of the innovative circuit-resort complex that is under construction in Argentina.
Velociudad is looking to be South America's first premium motorsports-resort complex, with a V8 Luxury Suites hotel and complementary attractions such as a private club, driving academy, convention center, commercial mall and brand houses intended to be used exclusively by auto industry representatives. Aside from being apt for every professional series both national and international, the flexible design of this FIA Grade 1 complex has eight different configurations that allow auto testing of road cars, sports vehicles, and motorcycles. Also, the complex will include a 4x4 Park, and a Test Drive Centre. Being one of the main representatives of Latin American motorsports, Esteban Gutiérrez is the ideal candidate to represent South America's main lifestyle and motorsports company.
